One-line positioning
Technical 3D artist for an interactive installation visualizing how human actions shape conditional future environments.
Context
The Accelerator: DreamCube is an interactive installation that immerses visitors in a sustainability-driven future scenario where outcomes evolve based on user decisions.
Your role
I owned the interaction and world-building implementation for the future-green city zone. I built Vive controller interactions so users could paint landscape areas, control foliage growth, and paint grass in real time. I also led the full city look development for this future-natural environment and completed level design for the interactive area.
Team setup
Technical implementation-focused interactive installation workflow.
My primary ownership covered interaction systems, look development, and level design for the target zone.
Workflow
Build baseline city state as a conventional urban landscape.
Implement Vive controller tools for direct landscape painting and grass/foliage painting.
Connect user interaction to environmental transformation logic so the city transitions into a greener future-natural state.
Tune lookdev and level layout to keep transformation readable and visually coherent during interaction.
Key deliverables
Vive controller landscape painting system.
Interactive foliage growth control and grass-painting interactions.
Future-green city look development package.
Level design completion for the interactive transformation zone.
Technical challenge
This project was primarily a technical implementation effort. The core challenge was building reliable real-time interaction logic and environmental response under installation constraints, rather than optimizing for large-scale public exhibition packaging.
Outcome
Delivered a technically robust interactive prototype where user inputs changed environmental outcomes in real time, with focus on implementation quality over large public rollout.
