Hello! Call me Ker.

I'm a creative technologist and designer with experience working for creative agencies, record labels, event production companies, film studios, and individual clients on a range of design and marketing projects spanning digital, physical, and events.

Amusement Park Attraction Design

Discord Domain — When immersive theater meets escape room

This is an immersive experience that is a theater play meets escape room. For anyone who loves adventure and mystery where you get to solve the mystery.

I build the prototype in VR experience.

Feedback System Design

Design for & sponsered by NYU Langone Health

Through this project, we’re trying to find opportunities and solutions for NYU Langone Health to improve its patient experience to be more inclusive, supportive, and positive for people who are transgender, nonbinary, and genderqueer. So we designed this patient-provider feedback system with both digital and analog access.

Home Bubble

An interactive storytelling project

Home Bubble is an interactive storytelling project where the interaction reveals intimate sentiments and emotions from a past experience. The user uses the mouse to scan over the image to reveal hidden sentiments reflecting how we often hide our emotions out of the fear of vulnerability.

Talking Heads

A Sound Generative Project based on the imperfections of AI

With Talking Heads, I am exploring my interest in how to create generative work by emphasizing the glitches caused by the imperfections in contemporary AI technology.

Can't Hold It Back

A pop-up exhibition storytelling/performance).

I created a pop-up installation exhibition in a public toilet on a famous bar street in Beijing. This exhibition tells 5 dirty love stories that you might have heard before at some random bar.

The Hidden Aura

A exhibition curation work for JinJing’s solo exhibition

There is a French saying: "Espritd’Escalierscalier", literally translated as "light on the stairs", meaning: when you find the answer, it's too late.

Tattoo Van

A Tattoo Culture Project.

It took two months to complete our tattoo journey across China. We departed from Wuhan and passed through 22 cities. VICE China accompanied us and filmed a documentary along the way.

Seehut

A design fiction of a social app in the near future.

Aimed at exploring and criticizing the possible futures of how people socialize after Covid-19, and how technology may help or hinder that.

(I designed this assuming the year is 2023 and Covid is no longer a worry).

Cityshell

A contingency plan for city dwellers. Designed with the homeless in mind.

During the day, countless park benches are used by city dwellers to catch up with their friends, stop for a rest, or as a place to wait. While, at night, they are cold, lonely places for people with nowhere to go.  By providing a safer, more private option for homeless people to stay, I hope to give park benches another life during the night. With this design, I want to improve people’s awareness towards the homeless, and provide undisturbed, respectful help.

Neara

A music card game. Designed for visually impaired people.

Neara is a musical card game for both the visually impaired and sighted to play. People can create different musical environments by combining different cards or working together to select the correct cards. By changing cards, players can communicate their emotions through music and establish friendships during the game.
